Leaders
Hello Pack families! How is everyone doing? I wanted to send everyone some updates. We have a leaders meeting coming up May 13th. We are inviting all parents to come help plan our summer program. Some suggestions of activities have been overnight camping, family cook outs, State Park hiking, and other outdoor activities. It will be at Jeanne’s and my house which is at 4973 Gem Lane NW. We start on time at 6:30. On May 15th we are volunteering/recruiting at the Harriet Bishop Spring Fling. I will be sending more information about this to your den leaders and they will then relay it to you. Next on the calendar is our “last minute” rocket building night. It is on May 21st at People of Hope church starting at 6:30. Feel free to be creative and come up with your own ideas too. The last date for this month is May 26th and 28th. We will be launching the rockets off on the 26th’s pack meeting unless it is raining. If it is, we would do it on the 28th. We’ve decided to start it an hour earlier than normal as well as serve dinner to give us enough time to launch off everyone’s rocket multiple times. This will be one of our first joint activities with our charter organization so I’d like to make a great presentation of ourselves. Please wear your uniform with all of your recent awards attached and have it tucked in. Being that this is also our last pack meeting of the school year, you will be graduating into the next rank. We will be providing you with your new neckerchiefs and slides. Please wear these at all future scouting activities. If you are going to be able to come to the pack meeting this month, please RSVP to me so that enough dinner can be provided and have enough launching pods built!
